Hey guys,
I'm the owner of Apex Electric Vehicles in Florida. A First Responder/Military owned and minded company, I design and manufacture new custom golf carts, currently offering two models with a third in development. I'm new to online forums, but I'm excited to share pictures and videos of my designs, get feedback, and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
My goal is to create designs that stand out and push boundaries while incorporating cutting-edge technology and prioritizing safety.
By selling directly to consumers, I eliminate intermediaries and additional costs, offering a single price for fully customized carts tailored to individual needs, no additional costs for adding accessories or wanting something personable. Its one price for what you want. My company was geared on a family safety first approach. Using carts more for recreational, family outtings, I feel the industy is lacking the foward thinking and not pushing safety aspects. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and sharing some of my hard work.

Glad you asked! We are partnered with our direct manufacturer overseas. We are also assembling our carts here in the US.
All your other brands minus club cart do the identical business models. Even Club Cart orders parts from overseas. It's not a hidden secret, it's why Club Carts are upwards of 25k-30k for a similar cart. Don't see why the hate. But unlike others I'm not just buying and selling. I am developing new and innovative ways to change the golf cart industry. From safety to performance and is going to be a huge game changer for US and Golf Carts with what we are designing with our partners.
Hope to be able to share it soon with the community because it is something that is more than just making money to me. It's about changing the old ways, the old designs and the lack of safety and innovation on Golf Carts. Even though so many people love using them as a family recreational vehicle and just to have family outtings.
It's also about changing the way Carts are sold. Laws are changing and we are on the forefront of selling direct to consumers. Giving one price for our carts no matter what you design. Not charging you for every additional add on and selling through a dealership that then marks up the cart and has to make their money based off upselling add-ons to the consumer.
Hope you can see what my vision is and make the forum positive not negative like most.
Seth
Good point and I addressed that as well.
As for warranty my partner has a lifetime warranty on the frame. Also our product isn't designed, developed or manufactured like other golf carts. My manufacture isn't a golf cart company. They are actually a electric car manufacturer that I partnered with for this very reason. Over 25 years in the business, all robotics and precision welding with quality parts. The carts come with a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty as well which is backed by me and my partners.
The frames are developed using the same technology and techniques your car and truck frames are designed with to keep them from rusting. Our batteries are designed and made by a reputable electric car manufacturer. I did my research and wanted to ensure longevity of my carts. This wasn't a short term venture.
Now for service obviously I'm not big enough like Telsa to have service centers all over the United States (not yet) but I have contracted and contacted a could different private golf cart mechanics which in my area I would pay for the warranty service. Parts at covered under warranty and I myself cover the cost of labor if you aren't close to me or my contracted companies. All you have to do is find a local golf cart repair shop or mechanic, drop it off and my team and I will work and pay to ensure your cart is back to new.
It isn't a hard concept to employ and it is a fast and easy way to cover many States at once. The company I partnered with isn't some small company, we together saw an opportunity to utilize the huge industry they already had set up for and use it on different avenue.
Plus I've dealt with dealers and the big companies with golf carts. They don't do a great job either. They either wait months and months for parts or they fight back and forth on who's problem the issue actually is especially if you had the dealer add on 3rd party accessories. Then the blame e game starts. I'm a victim of that myself and I'm sure you have seen it as well.
These big companies don't care about you nor do they care about giving you (the consumer) what you want at an affordable price. They just want a bottom line.
I'd rather by from a guy trying to make it and hedge my bet on that then a big Corp that only cares about a bottom line. Club Cart is a 1.7 billion dollar company. You think they care if your cart works or is the best bang for your buck. Just like BMW they used to sell quality now it's quantity. It's what happens.
I don't care if I sell 10 a year, a year or 100,000 a year. I just want to build a company that disrupts the industy, changes it for the better and gives the consumers what they want at a decent price. Giving them a better buying experience and not driving a 15k cart that still looks like there grandpa bought it in .
